Our dried Juniper Berries are sustainably wild foraged each fall from our family land. Juniper Berries are both a food and an herb, though they are technically classified as a spice. They are the only official spice to come from a conifer tree, and with the exception of pine nuts, Juniper Berries are also the only common food that comes from conifer trees.

These delightful, dusty blue orbs are not only a traditional medicinal of the American Southwest but a unique culinary flavor as well.  Useful for teas, tinctures, balms, salves, infusions, and oxymels, as well as cocktails and steak rubs.

Precautions:

Not for use in pregnancy except under the supervision of a qualified healthcare practitioner. Use with caution in persons with inflammatory kidney disease. Not for use exceeding six weeks in succession.
